So, let me get this straight... our “justice” system is arranged so that if you go into court somewhere as a jurist and rail on how you hate X, Y or Z, you will be disqualified from judging those cases because you’re biased. However, if you spew venomous hatred of Republicans, that’s not supposed to in any way interfere with your work on various committees that are investigating events that could well impact a Presidential election.

Yep! I was called for jury duty and was one of 36 selected to be questioned by the attorneys. As luck would have it, the victims in the case were the parents of my brother-in-law’s wife’s step-father in law (follow along now). I had never met them. The only way I figured out we were “related” by marriage (twice removed, if you can follow that!) was the attorneys went down a list of potential witnesses and asked if we knew any of those people. The step father in law (victims son) was on that list and I recognized his name as being my BIL’s father in law. Whew!

Disqualified!!!
