That and though Germans are individually smart and technologically advanced, they are complete idiots when it comes to politics. They are hopelessly naive and have a collectivist impulse to go along with a very smug self satisfaction and desire to boss others around. As you might guess, this has made them oh so popular over time......
And they have a lonnnngggg history of living under authoritarian...very authoritarian rough governments and consequently don’t have the rebellious non-conformist genes that we Americans do.
