This is an investigation that will never result in any prosecutions. It is just a paper exercise. There will be no extraditions. Will they try in absentia? Doubt it. Shifting it over to DOJ is just like filing it. Mueller doesn't want to bothered with this meaningless case.
Nothing he said was not ‘already known’.....so Trump will proceed just as he has planned.
Interesting that this sounds and looks like a “political manipulation” move by Rosenstein.

Now wouldn’t it be fun if President Trump and Putin agreed to allow the 12 indicted officers to travel to the US and stand trial. Probably DOJ has just as little evidence as in the other case that has become a major embarrasment for Mueller.
Yep, I don't see this as a big deal. I just didn't like Rosenstein's "commercial" for the DOJ/FBI saying how they stay out of politics and it's not good for Congress to have investigations (that was BS ad out of line). I also would like Rosensteing to tell Mueller to go ahead and end the circus - let's move on.

The election meddling by any country is well known for all nations....the idea is not to get caught. Even then the most that happens is a slap on the wrist. Therefore the “intent” of this press conference goes well beyond revealing anything significant other than to support, defend, and point the finger AWAY from the FBI/DOJ and Stroz....
Which tells me we’re really close to what they don’t want known...or who is involved.
