Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced on Friday that 12 Russian intelligence officers was indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller in the ongoing Trump-Russia investigation. The officers are members of the GRU, and are all named as having allegedly hacked the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Democratic National Committee, and the Hillary Clinton campaign. CNN reported that prosecutors from Mueller's office and the Justice Department's National Security Division gave a grand jury indictment to a D.C. federal magistrate judge on Thursday morning. The indictment comes just one day before President Trump is set to meet Russian president Vladimir Putin in Helsinki for their first one-on-one meeting

“He’ll win that fight, too.”

He MAY be able to convince a judge to proceed to trial, but as soon as everyone appears before the trial judge, all charges will be dropped.

Yesterday Strozk catergorized his questioning as a victory for Putin. Today Mueller and Rosenstein indict 12 officers of the GRU. Doing so without prior notification to POTUS who is about to meet with Putin. McCarthy as bad as he was and HUAC were never playing the game of coup d’etat. J. Edgar Hoover was into blackmail but would he have ever undercut a POTUS,even one he virulently disagreed with. The fact that Russian milutary officials have been accused and indicted of interference in our election on the eve of a summit and that no prior disclosure was made to POTUS are grounds, not just for dismissal but for charges of sedition. And I have long refrained from using that word as I always felt it too hyperbolic a description of Dem actions. No longer. Sedition it is. Sedition it must be.

Right, he says he should be able to convict w/o showing evidence of a crime AND his minions cannot respond to questions because of the ongoing investigation.

And these are the people SO concerned about our democracy.

The sad thing is that if there were an actual security concern the actions of these investigators have completely compromised the process.

They are directly responsible for the distrust and utter contempt a large portion of the country now has for the DOJ and the FBI.

Trump was notified. Rosenstein said he notified him earlier this week.

There is no objective proof the DNC was hacked by the Russians.

They didn’t even let any law enforcement agency of any type come in to review or validate the “logs.”

It is no different then me saying Hillary hacked my bank account, so give her an indictment.

How?

Remember, this is about perception.

You can’t spin this as a win from Trump. Is is going to be the mid terms and the 2020 election topic for the Dems.

Russia was indicted for meddling with HRC campaign. No matter what else happens, the Dems will run with this and use sympathetic judges to advance their claims.

And this will have an effect on the USSC nomination. The talking point will be that since Russia is “proven” to have meddled in the election, does Trump have the “authority” to appoint anyone?

This might or might not work out for the Dems, but it was not a win for Trump.

The indictment comes just one day before President Trump is set to meet Russian president Vladimir Putin in Helsinki for their first one-on-one meeting

The President, as should all Americans, will treat the accused as presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court at trial.

The indictment totally exonerates the Trump team or Trump of any “collusion”. The Russian entities were pretending to be Americans and there does not appear to be any allegation in the indictments that anyone on the Trump team knew they were dealing with or communicating with anyone from Russia.

This should be the end of the Mueller “probe”. He found his Russian bogeymen and there is no evidence that any American knowingly “colluded” with any foreign power.

Yes, they want to clear their name of those phoney charges here in court, but Mueller refuses to allow that. Just makes it look it look good to keep them under indictment. What a con job this whlole investigation is.

Love how Trump just stands by as his Justice Department continues to progress in removing him power.

All my liberal family members are all over me today on these indictments “See, see, the Russians did help Trump win.”

Sorry. Didnt watch the whole thing. Still Strozk’s mention of a Putin victory and today’s indictments screams collusion of a different sort.
