I just *knew*, without doing any math, that a straw ban would be completely meaningless.
It ended up having a negative effect, that's even funnier, but par for the course for most greenie efforts.

The Straw ban was put in effect because straws get into bodies of water and the fish and other water loving mammals can't be trained to use them properly.

They should hand out red licorice or red vines twists. Bite off the ends and use as a straw. Fat free and tasty. Kids love them (so does my wife).
