WHERE did you come up with that idea?? I'm from about as "deep South" as it is possible to get, and I have NEVER heard even a single voter talk about doing this kind of thing.
My parents did, and many of their friends did as well.
It’s a political thing. They would get the ‘inside scoop’ from party officials thinking they were really of that party.
The Democrat Party is very organized at the local level and very stupid at all levels.....................
