I have seen AF-1 on several occasions and the sight of it impresses and a feeling of pride in our nation occurs instantly. Then, the question arises is why or where did they get that blue? On sale, cheaper or easier to maintain?
Why? The color should be the same as our Flag’s blue, not too heavy on any one of the Red, White or Blue but get rid of that Robin’s egg color, keep UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and no, the eagle doesn’t fit at all.

Had to repaint my Red White and Blue airplane once and the Red is a very expensive color, but we can afford it can’t we? Go for it America!

I don't know. After more than half a century, that color, and the whole design, have now become an iconic American symbol.

Like the White House, it doesn't belong to its temporary occupant. It belongs to the people.

I vote No on changing it.
