Both are probably frantically searching for “get out of jail cards” which should be harder to find all the time.

I’m gonna stir the pot...Go Croatia...I believe they are not allowing Muslim immigrants.

A bit of history

The north Adriatic coast today has Italy bordering Slovenia and then Croatia. During the Roman times a number of Roman emperors came from these coastal areas of what is now Slovenia and Croatia

Starting with the acceptance of the Nicene Creed are 325 AD Catholicism became the major religion.

After the fall of the Roman Empire ~550-600 we ended up with Constantinople as the major ROMAN/Catholic kingdom. This is where "Greek" or Eastern Catholics come from. The parts of the Old Roman empire closest to Rome (Slovenia and Croatia) remained Catholic. The parts closer to Constantinople became Greek Orthodox and use the Greek alphabet

With the fall of Constantinople around 1453 you start to see the Ottoman Turks bring their version of Mahamedism to Europe. What today is Bosnia is mostly the remnants of Turks who settles in this area and or the dependents of those who where converted to Islam by the Sword.

More recently - WWII - The Croats who like the Slovenians always wished to be in charge of their own destiny cooperated with the Nazis and fought with the Greek Orthodox Serbians. The most recent war between these two was in the 1990s

Well, scrolling down is easy-peasy. I very much like the extra whitespace—makes it much easier to read, so all together, a quicker read.

nd it is such a treat to see F. Chuck Todd deal with his Trump Derangement. He’s off the charts today...and clearly doesn’t know the facts. He seemed not to know about Nellie Ohr, and refused to hear it

The Propaganda machine at work. These tanks all belong to us as the Iraqi General said in plain sight for everyone to see

Do not for a minute assume these people do not know - they know and knowingly LIE to create and attitude in the public. Gobbles and Tokyo Rose may be better know propaganda minsters but the MSM with just a small handful of exceptions are these same people - they may even be related

As you say, at one time they were all the same people. The language is still basically the same... but they are separated by religion as you said.

In October of 1995 I went TDY to Bosnia as part of IFOR.

A Croat that worked for the US Army told me why everyone (Croats and Serbs) hated Bosnian Muslims.

He said they were Croats or Serbs that became Muslim to curry favor with the Ottoman overlords. In other words, turncoats, traitors and especially brown-nosing suck-ups. They caused a lot of trouble over the centuries and were always turning in Christian nationalists to the Ottomans, who then imprisoned, beat, tortured and often executed them.

He hated them with a deep, burning passion.

Of course, everyone I met there hated the other two groups that way, too.

Meet the Press

Chuck Todd out did himself today... He thinks Trump conspired with 'the Russians' by asking them to release Hillary's emails - in a large 'thousands of citizens Trump rally'....

Chuck - YOU are such a fool.

Chuck, YOU should have packed up your fellow elites (during the campaign) for a 'focus group' caravan out into flyover. This insulting type trip you elitists do to study the natives the 'deplorables' would have shown that ALL OF US IN FLYOVER WERE SAYING THE SAME THING... IMPLORING imploring RUSSIANS, BRITS, ISRAELIS OR EVEN LONE HACKERS TO RELEASE THE CLINTON EMAILS.

I SAID it too. Right here on FreeRepublic.

Many of us suggested Russians or Israelis or some hacker should release Hillary's emails.

It was our way of saying that OUR INTELLIGENCE SERVICES were incompetent... that everyone in the world had them except American intelligence... (We didn't KNOW back then that our 'intelligence services' weren't stupid - that they were corrupt instead). NOW I'm sure our 'intelligence had all the dirt on the Clinton Crime Group - and they they destroyed it.

So, Chuck Todd - go back in the FreeRepublic archives and you'll find we were ALL saying what Trump was saying. We knew every enemy of the United States had Hillary's emails...except our incompetent 'intelligence'... we wanted the truth to come out... Does that bother you Chuck Todd?

We weren't 'colluding' with the Russians we were mocking our corrupt thugs and pleading for someone with the TRUTH to put the truth out. Something our 'press' used to do... something our 'intelligence' people used to care about...

So go back and look Chuck Todd... all of us were saying the same damn thing...

RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA.

Now, even with OANN, anyone who dismisses “RUSSIA” will be cited as a liar, a kook, a mental case, etc.

STUPID Republicans.

The Sunday political talk shows for 11/15/18

Below the FreeRepublic Sunday talk show thread link.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3671015/posts?page=2

The major talking points of the day

Even with a Supreme Court nominee last week, most of this Sunday’s political talk shows discussed tomorrow’s scheduled meeting between Putin and Trump.

Very little discussion about nut job Peter Strzok even though he snarled at us for ten hours in front of congress last week.

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Jon Huntsman Jr., U.S. ambassador to Russia; Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del. The panel in Helsinki will be Jonathan Swan of Axios and Michael Gordon of The Wall Street Journal. The panel in Washington will be Susan Page of USA Today, Charles Lane of The Washington Post, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Karl Rove, former White House deputy chief of staff to President George W. Bush.

Highlight of Fox News Sunday:

Chris Coons, MY Senator, makes an appearance. Jon Huntsman Jr. discusses the upcoming meeting between Putin and Trump.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Huntsman; Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Ark. The panel will be Amy Walter of The Cook Political Report; radio host Hugh Hewitt; Joshua Johnson, host of NPR’s “1A”; and Elise Jordan, NBC News political analyst and contributor to Time.

Highlight of Meet the Press:

A new face on the scene, Sen. Dan Sullivan, does a very good job. Huntsman kind of mediocre.

Link to Meet the Press show below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUP-G7oPCbg

FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas; Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C.; Rep. Joe Crowley, D-N.Y.; Victoria Nuland, former assistant secretary of state and current CEO of the Center for a New American Security. Norah O’Donnell previews the Trump-Putin summit. The panel will be Gerald Seib of The Wall Street Journal, Rachael Bade of Politico, David Nakamura of The Washington Post and Ben Domenech of The Federalist.

Highlight of Face the Nation
Trey Gowdy says Russia DID probe our elections but Trump is innocent

Below the link to Face the Nation:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkp0BFpigMk

THIS WEEK (ABC): White House National Security Adviser John Bolton; Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn. George Stephanopoulos reports from Helsinki. The panel will be Elisabeth Bumiller of The New York Times, Democratic strategist Donna Brazile, former Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., and Steve Inskeep, host of NPR’s “Morning Edition” and “Up First.”

Highlight of This Week with George Stephanopolous

Reporting directly from Helsinki, This Week features none other than genius Donna Brazille telling Trump how to handle things.

Link to This Week below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWPvMJCrSyU

STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va..; Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.; Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif. Guests discussing the summit will be David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker and author of “Resurrection: The Struggle for a New Russia”; Masha Gessen, staff writer at The New Yorker and author of “The Future Is History: How Totalitarianism Reclaimed Russia”; Nicholas Burns, professor at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and former U.S. under secretary of state for political affairs and ambassador to NATO; Julia Ioffe of GQ Magazine. The panel will be Susan Glasser of The New Yorker; David Gergen, former presidential adviser to Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Clinton; Navy Rear Adm. John Kirby (Ret.), former State Department spokesperson; and Philip Mudd, former FBI senior intelligence adviser.

Highlight of State of the Union

Scuttlebutt is guest John Bolton was pulled from this show because, according to Trump, CNN is fake news.

Link to This Week below:

SUNDAY MORNING FUTURES (FNC): Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif.; Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah; Rep. John Ratcliffe, R-Texas; Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas. The panel will be Mary Kissel of the Wall Street Journal editorial board and Charlie Hurt of The Washington Times.

Regular Fox News show with very good guests and top notch hostess.
