Usually politicians who complain about FBI leadership proclaim that they support and appreciate all the efforts of the rank-and-file agents in the field. I’m not so sure that support is justified. It’s an institutional problem and probably runs deep. It would take years to properly clean it up.

I totally agree. And unfortunately, Sessions, Wray, and Rosenstein have thus far demonstrated no ability to do the required purging of political hacks within the DOJ.
