Right now, I only have 2 lavender plants, and only one of them bloomed. Hubby transferred the other from a pot to a bed and I think that kept it from blooming this year. I hope they continue to do well. They’re supposed to repel mosquitoes, but so far I haven’t seen much difference. My legs are covered in bites. They even bite when I have repellent on! Stupid things!

I haven’t heard that lavender is supposed to repel mosquitos. I know there’s a type of geranium that does and it seemed to work pretty well when I grew some a few years ago. Mosquitos don’t bite me for whatever reason but they bump me. The scent of the geraniums kept them from doing that.
Bummer only one of your plants bloomed this year. Maybe once the other one is established in the ground it will bloom again.
