first of all, the whole story is many paragraphs of breathless reporting about something someone imagined could have possibly happened.
but, ultimately, if you’re worried about voter rolls, implement voter id. problem solved.
One can analyze this in 99 different ways and basically come to the same conclusion....which I doubt a journalist would want to explain to the public. If you go and get a copy of the rolls, then you could also insert names into the system...basically opening the door for a million absentee ballots to be dispersed across the nation to various mailboxes (which we already know is being done to a great extent anyway via the Democratic machine). It’s just now...the Russian machine would be at work with the same agenda.
Forget about the dead voters, and illegal voters...the real money is in fake absentee voters.
But here’s the thing, if those 12 Russians suddenly appear in the US and demand their day in court, they just might lay out the agenda. Once explained to the public, you would go ballistic, and demand three key changes.
1. As you say....voter ID would have to occur.
2. All roles would have to be dissolved, and things started from scratch.
3. Absentee voting would have to be massively curtailed, probably in the range of 90-percent. With the exception of military personnel, that might be the only group allowed an absentee ballot.
What angers the Democrats is that they owned the manipulation process, and probably produced one to two million illegal voters, dead voters, and fake voters in every election. Sometimes it mattered....sometimes not. Now? They’ve got competition.
