It was A FREAKING MAZING
no violence. 100% good cheers and celebrating
Thousands were putting the ashes of grandparents and fathers on the parade route
The Kelce speech in the mummers outfit was increíble
THAT was a TRUE LONG AWAITED VICTORY CELEBRATION

Parades are not to be confused with the "celebrations" right after the teams victory. Philly fans rioted and one ate horse poop.(Br)(Br)Keeping it classy in Philadelphia.

I was at that parade with my 12 year old daughter and her 13 year old cousin. I had no fear bringing them because I knew that Philly fans get a bad rap. Booing Santa, all that crap. But I knew it would be a community of fans sharing a peaceful moment of joy in total solidarity. And so it was. I remember talking to a random black guy next to me as the buses came through and we were joking and high fiving and race and socioeconomic status didn't matter at all, we were just fans and for that moment friends.

And as I predicted, no violence, mutual respect, not even excessive bad language around the kids though one a-hole did light up a joint right next to them. So glad I went to it.
