I’m convinced that people like this simply do not have anything rewarding and meaningful in their personal lives. Our culture/way of life seems to have removed deep meaning for many, and they have to do stuff like this to feel authentic and as if they “matter”.

This is the same conclusion I have come to. I had to leave a family gathering on Saturday because I just can’t be around my wife’s self absorbed, condescending, narcissistic, progressive sister in law. See dominates every family gathering by regaling us on her latest vacation and how we all need to do this or that according to her way of thinking, and we are all wrong and inferior. This behavior is obviously to cover for the lack of real rewards in life. I don’t need these people in my life and will not place myself in their proximity anymore.

I had a HS reunion this week...the first one I’ve attended and hadn’t seen most of the people in 15+ years. It was easy to spot the liberals due to their omnipresent scowls and overall negative demeanor and conversation. Some of the happiest girls I knew growing up have been ravaged by feminism, liberalism, and the sexual revolution. Almost all of the men were married but there was a very large group of never-married women.

One of the class gays was drunk by 8 PM on both nights we met. The second night he decided he wanted to talk about how my Christianity oppresses him etc. I learned I can never truly love humanity unless I

1. Denounce Christianity
2. Openly embrace the lifestyle, including marching in pride parades
3. Experiment with homosexuality—at the very minimum
4. I can never truly love my gay family members as much as this classmate loves them until I do #1-#3.

As expected, I must respect and accept his lifestyle but he does not have to respect or accept mine (even though he’s “tolerant of all life choices and I am not”).
