'Very good start': Trump's direct talks with Putin go into overtime

'Very good start': Trump's direct talks with Putin go into overtime as presidents speak for TWO HOURS after U.S. leader says he hopes for 'extraordinary relationship' and Kremlin strongman smirks at election meddling question

President Trump is in Helsinki, Finland for a summit with Vladimir Putin that is running behind

He was to meet the Russian president for 90 minutes one-on-one but talks lasted two hours

Putin was late to the summit, as well, pushing it back by an hour right after the bat

Trump began Monday by bashing the Mueller probe, 'Crooked Hillary,' and Barack Obama and went after U.S. 'foolishness and stupidity' dealing with Russia

Russia's ministry of foreign affairs said it agreed with him in a response

Trump earlier vented that no matter how well he does he won't be appreciated

Blasted the media as the 'enemy of the people,' a term used in Soviet times, over the weekend

Said that Democrats and his critics would go after him even if 'I was given the great city of Moscow'

The shots came after indictments of 12 Russian spies accused of election hack conspiracy

Trump said in an interview taped Saturday of his meeting with Putin: 'I go in with low expectations'

There is no clear agenda for Monday's meeting and no 'deliverables' agreed to in Helsinki

Foreign policy experts worried the president would promise concessions to Putin - Trump could pledge to ease sanctions or cut U.S. military exercises in Europe

Right. It will turn out just as bad as the Korea deal (sarc/off)

Does that seem likely? Is Trump a poor negotiator? Does he not know how to make deals? Maybe he should read a good book on the topic ...

So Mueller caught 12 Russian spies... spying.

Great work!

Thy spy on us, we spy on them... How is that related to Trump in any way?

Would we turn over any pentagon officials that Russia asked for?

Trump and Putin agreed to a swap... Putin gives us ‘the twelve’ and we give Putin Brennan and Clapper.

Why would anyone worry about concessions by Trump who has bombed (missile attacked) them twice? Obama gave away our nukes, our missile defenses, Crimea, Syria, Eastern Ukraine and Iraq.

I hope Putin handed President Trump a whole lot of information about traitors who got weapons to ISIS, about who was responsible for the chemical attacks, and about Obama/Clinton dirty deeds that caused chaos in so many places.

Lol! I can hear the democrats screaming now, “They’re discussing how to steal the midterm elections from us, that’s why it’s taking so long!!!”

Putin just said that under a treaty signed with the USA in 1999, extradite power is mutual. He intimated that if his officials are asked to be extradited, they will ask for the extradition of Mueller and others who accuse Russia of collusion. Check mate.

These presstitutes continue to spew their ignorance. Can any one of them be at least half witted?

LOLOL

I’d take that ride any day! Send us the 12 Russians and we send them Mueller and Weissman and Rosenstein. Good deal for us, like taking out the trash on garbage day!

Watching the press conference following the Trump-Putin meeting.

Putin just b!tch-slapped Mueller right across the face! In response to a question from a Reuters reporter about whether Russia will extradite the 12 people named in the Mueller indictment, Putin said Russian authorities will question those men and American officials are welcome to attend the questionning ... but Putin expects "reciprocity" in questionning an American who took over a million dollars out of Russia (which Putin said may have been legal to do but taxes were not paid to either Russia or the U.S.) and that money found its way into "the Hillary Clinton campaign." -- a direct quote from Putin.

In essence, Putin is signalling Mueller that if he wants to continue this investigation into Russian collusion and meddling with the U.S. election (which Putin denies happened), then Putin wants an investigation into this Clinton campaign contribution.
