Actually the military has countered the non-military IC quite magnificently. They’ve done so discreetly so far, but it’s a hell of a fight and soon it will be in the open.
Snowden was the deep swamp CIA preemptively attacking the NSA (which is military). Trump is the NSA and the military striking back with death blows.
This is war in the 21st century. Cyber first, then blood.
