Former FBI Director James Comey slammed President Trump for appearing to side with Russian president Vladimir Putin over his denial of involvement in the 2016 election.
“This was the day an American president stood on foreign soil next to a murderous lying thug and refused to back his own country,” Comey said in a tweet hours after Trump’s controversial press conference with Putin in Helsinki.
“Patriots need to stand up and reject the behavior of this president,” said Comey, who was fired by Trump last year during his investigation into possible collusion between the Trump White House and Russia.

My guess is that Comey is afraid of what more treasonous information will come out of the Trump/Putin summit. The light of truth will further expose the Democrat's treasonous actions, especially Hillary Clinton.
