If running as a D in 2020 for pres is his plan, the guy is full on nutter.

Romney could have been President in 2012 had he run an even remotely competent campaign...

He didn’t.

Now to think I will be a republican senator then switch parties and go for the White House in less than 2 years????

Only thing something like this would prove is that the establishment of both parties are in fact one uniparty... and end any plausible deniability of it.

I never liked Romney, but to me it was obvious the fix was in for Barry. Romney cleaned Obama’s clock in the first debate. His handlers must have told him to ease up, because that’s exactly what he did. He threw it right to Obama, as per his instructions, no doubt.

The only person who did a worse job in 2012 was Ryan.
Both clearly didn’t want the job but wanted the $$$.
I was in Fort Collins at the time.
Obama showed up with and did a public meeting.
Ryan showed up and asked for $ from donors in a private meeting.

I saw quickly we were seeing a replay of McCain.

That's what Michael Bloomberg proved when he ran for mayor of NYC as a Republican because that's where the available slot was.
