Big deal, it’s just some House hearing.

It seems that the Strzok/Page "romance' has soured, and Strzok is going down. Lisa Page isn't going to play the patsy. "Hell has no fury like a woman scorned".

“and she is getting direction from FBI counsel “

What? This is ridiculous. Strozk has also been advised by FBI counsel along with private counsel. This FBI counsel is in apparent conflict and has no business representing her as her interests may well be in conflict with Strozk and indeed with the FBI itself.

Strzok appeared to have more than one screw loose.

If that guy is still considered to be FBI material, ouch!

In the old days they’d do neighborhood canvases, past employers, education information...

This guy seemed literally unstable the other day.

I can’t imagine him lasting six hours in the FBI ranks, after that performance.

Strzok is a CIA agent (Station Chief) and on loan to the FBI. A joint CIA/FBI position was created by Congress in 1996. Strzok was “a senior FBI official” by being the CIA’s Chief of Counterespionage.

It’s also being reported that he was born and lived for several years in Iran. He was Brennan’s and Obama’s point person for dealing with Iran as well.

“....she is trying to respect the real privileges that exist from her FORMER employer, and she is getting direction from FBI counsel about not answering certain things...”

I’m at a loss understanding WHAT she can’t answer. She’s under oath in a closed hearing being questioned about her past performance and direct knowledge of the perormance of other employees. If she has resigned, why is FBI council advising her? She can answer or take the 5th.
What rocket science do I not understand?

“I think there are significant differences between their testimony about important material facts,”

Good cop, bad cop testimony.

Lisa Page resigned from the FBI. Why would she be entitled to FBI lawyers? Strozk is still in FBI HR dept.

“I think she has been as forthcoming as she can. I think she is trying to respect the real privileges that exist from her former employer, and she is getting direction from FBI counsel about not answering certain things and she is trying to respect that. At the same time, I think she is trying to give us as much information as she’s allowed to do, which I think is a distinction and difference from what we saw with Peter Strzok.”

———-

Which means: she still spewed copious amounts of BS... just a little less, compared to Strzok.

Two observations

Why can’t she testify about everything she did at work? She should have done nothing illegal.

How would you feel if your wife cheated on you with someone like Strzok?

This is absolute BS! It’s a closed-door hearing. The FBI lawyers should be removed from the hearing room and she should be compelled to answer ALL questions. This idea that the FBI can override the Congress needs to end. Trump needs to give a direct order to the DOJ that they are to comply fully with all requests. Nothing should be held back save information that might cause physical harm to an agent.

So it seems that there are some things she “can’t” answer? I didn’t know that was allowable.
