Usually, I refrain from raising dead threads from their graves; however, I'll make an exception this time, because you need some much needed advice...to wit: please avail yourself to a very much needed remedial reading/reading comprehension class.

Though you imagine that you are an "expert" and far superior to others, vis-a-vis N.Y. 14th Congressional district and all things re NYC politics. Nothing could be father from the truth! You threw out a very obscure, meaningless, local slang, pertaining to a region, that has less than nothing at all to do with the thread's topic, as though it is of utmost importance.

Where are the facts/demographic voter breakdowns of the 14th district? NOWHERE!

And then there is your pathetic, puerile, protestations, demanding an answer to a query, which was answered, in detail, in my post #125, before you even asked the question.

The simple, unassailable truth is, all you supplied was a back patting, egotistic collection of boasting/self aggrandisement, and snarky, silly, stabs at putting me down.

So do toddle off into your little bubble, wherein you are "the best of the best", have won all of the prizes, and are better than everyone else; it's the only place that you are.

Repost your “answer in detail” on when and where you voted in Queens. I see nothing remotely close to an answer in your #125.. Just the vague “intimately familiar” nonsense. I mapped out my voting precinct. What’s yours? Why so reluctant to come out and say it?

Your argument suggests that since Dems outnumber Republicans by roughly 6-1, the GOP should tamely concede. That’s bullshit. How do you make inroads if you choose not to field candidates? How do you sway debate if you don’t even bother to formulate an argument? Unlike you, I refuse to be a defeatist.

For your edification, here is some historical perspective on my District :

Today, it is probably 50% Hispanic (Mexican mostly but growing population from Central America). There was always a representative Hispanic population, but it’s bigger now. Next biggest group has to be Asian-Americans. Walk Alstyne Ave. or along Junction Boulevard and you’ll hear Creole or Tuareg spoken among the Mandarin, Portuguese and Spanish. Whites outnumber Black’s, but not by much. Almost all NYC Jewish people live in Queens (I.e. Rego Park has had a large influx of Mongolian Uzbek, Tajik Jews). Judaism and Catholicism are still predominant, but the Muzzies are coming,

A lot more Arabs now than just 10 years ago, but not a majority - yet. This is a moderately sized District - maybe 200,000 people tops. It’s also turned from decent middle class to one of the poorer Districts, thanks to the Libs who run it.

Go to the outer borough (Kew Gardens, Forest Hill) and it’s less urban and more white collar. Heavier concentration of whites, but still more ethnically diverse than before. Lots of people from Jackson Heights and Flushing headed to the Island years ago, when the District started to change for the worse. Those who could get out, got out, to Manhasset, Litchfield, Babylon. If they’re really lucky, to Scarsdale. Or they moved upstate, to Rockland or Westchester (if they could afford the housing) or Hudson Valley where home prices were lower in Orange, Dutchess, Putnam, Ulster, etc,

Lots of the Jews moved to Monticello, Kingston, Ellenville, Sullivan etc. as part of the white flight in the 70s. That area remains largely white and more centrist.

Other than that, I don’t know anything about the demographics of the area, certainly when compared with an expert like you.
