All of the major television networks use their primetime entertainment shows to push a pro-gun control agenda. Liberal television executives apparently think that they have the power to change Americans’ attitudes.

They do have the power- kids watch these shows and are brainwashed to think guns are only used by bad folks-
part of the problem is that more and more kids aren’t growing up hunting and sport shooting anymore, and have liberal or libertarian parents who believe the police are the only folks who should have guns.
Thankfully though in rural areas, we still have kids growing up hunting and sport shooting, fishing, trapping, working on farms etc where guns are a necessity to take care of varmints and predators like coyotes, foxes etc, and learn that guns are tools and defensive items-
You never see a good guy with a gun defending himself or a third party.
Hollywood depicts two types of “gun owners”: (1) criminals and (2) dangerously deranged or racist private citizens.
Wait until they have to address a certain new USSC Justice Brett.
Not just gun control. Shows like “Succession” and “Homeland” have been created as masturbatory, political porn fantasies about how to get even with conservatives.
Same thing happened with homosexuality. It is now fully normalized on TV, including among the youth. Eg, in the recent Deadpool 2 movie from Marvel, one of the cool characters (a teen girl with powers) is in a relationship with another teen girl.
Apparently M16s were readily available in the '70s, because every TV bad guy had one. At the end of the show, Johnny said something like, I don't want to ever see another gun as long as I live. Landslides, fires, okay, but no guns.
Going on for decades. Nothing new
Funny part is, those watching these liberal shows are already for gun control...so, they’re preaching to the choir.
I haven’t watched late night shows since Carson retired...never did like Letterman, anyway.
You do have to laugh at the fact that Bill Clinton's presidency was SO BAD that they had to make a tv show– the West Wing– to show you what they wished it could be.
The did the same thing with Madam Secretary to repair and boost Hillary.
Both shows are nothing but Leftist propaganda platforms.
Look at the new lesbian Batgirl series (for teens) being developed. If you can’t change the old folks, target the young before they learn to think and question for themselves...
Yep. In the 80s every family sitcom had the “Very special episode” where the father bought a handgun after a burglary and then almost shot the kid coming in late after curfew.
Entertainment stars and staffs are all protected by staffs of armed guards. Meanwhile, Joe Citizen can take his chances in Thug World.
Exactly. That’s why we don’t have cable TV anymore. All of them have to eventually bow to their faggot “god.” That kind of “entertainment/indoctrination” ain’t welcome in my home.

Amazing how in a few short years, Kiefer Sutherland went from Jack Bauer to a pussy roll in Designated Survivor. In the end it’s the ratings and so far it’s not looking too good for these shows
