It is the 49th anniversary of the scumbag leaving a girl for dead in an air pocket. Had he sought help, she could have been saved.

Watched the movie last weekend.
Never explained how old Ted got out of the car after it went into the pond.
Also didn’t mention the money the woman’s family received.

Just watched the movie 2 days ago. Shocked it got out of Hollywood.
Kennedy comes across as the total POS he was.
It was 12 years ago and I was watching OKLAHOMA while visiting my daughter in Washington. She was choreographer for a local theatrical group. When I heard the SURREY WITH THE FRINGE ON TOP, I started writing it in my head. Wrote most of the lyrics on the plane home.
Just wondering, though if the 50th anniversary should be “observed” today, July 19th. That's because, IIRC, most of action back in 1969 took place after midnight local time, which would place it on Saturday, July 19th, of that year.
If I'm not mistaken, there has been little or no mention of the Chappaquiddick 50th anniversary on most current news outlets. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out why.
