So, there goes the argument of the hold-outs, that their diocese will be able to recognize biblical marriage.

Allegedly, individual ministers can bow out for a substitute, but guess how long that will last.

But the homofascists said it was just about the actions of consenting adults in private, now churches are being overturned everywhere

The Episcopals are a dead church walking.
Given Pope Che, the Catholic Church appears to be following in close trail.

I’d invite people to join the Ordinariate, but one has to wonder if under Pope Francis, the Catholic Church may not be heading down the same primrose path to perdition...

The Episcopal Church went Leftist many years ago and it will never return to what it was. Used to be the most Conservative of the protestant religions, now in a few short years it is the most Hard Left of any.

The Episcopal church stopped being a Christian denomination decades ago.

There is going to be another breakaway. We already have one in Ft. Worth, Texas. The Dallas Bishop isn’t happy about this but so far is indicating he will remain with the national Church. Why can’t they just have their civil unions and stop forcing this crap on the rest of us?

The Constitution of the Episcopal Church was written during the same time frame as the US Constitution, also in Philadelphia a few blocks away from Constitution Hall in Christ Church. It is set up very similar to the US Constitution whereby the federal government has limited authority with most authority residing with the States. The central authority for the church had very little authority. It resided with the 13 dioceses. The Presiding Bishop for the first 100 years remained a diocesan bishop whose main function to call the triennial General Convention into session and preside over the House of Bishops. He was not to be an archbishop. The founders were adamant about that. They wanted little to no power invested in the central authority. And so it should be.

I feel for my fellow Catholics who keep posting on FR that they will “NEVER leave the True Church Universal”.

The day is coming when Pope Francis crams this identical doctrine down our throats. The Vatican is a dictatorship, and there is no appealing his decrees.

My fellow Catholics who say they will NEVER leave have painted themselves into a corner. If you have principles then certain developments dictate that you MUST leave.

Their Martin Luther moment of epiphany is going to be very difficult for them to swallow.

I attended a spirit-filled Episcopal Church for years. When it was announced that the ordination of women and gays was O.K., the priest at that church resigned and left the denomination. Gosh, I loved that guy!

This is why the Fort Worth, Texas diocese split with the Anglican Communion and now reports to a conservative African bishop.
There were conservative Anglican churches that shifted allegiances, too, but Fort Worth was the only one to have the whole DIOCESE break. 2-1 vote, with a few churches choosing to remain allied to the liberal to the point of insanity Church of England.

I recall when they ‘accepted’ fake marriage at their Minneapolis convention quite a few years ago. Once the decision was announced a tornado (out of the clear blue sky) appeared and went down the street destroyng their meeting.

Liberals, progs, demonrats, socialists, athiests and communists all have one goal in mind.... Destroy, diminish and degrade anything and everything associated or credited to God. This gem also comes to mind “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” (also see my tagline)
