Dems are livid over Flint’s lead-laced water — but de Blasio gets a pass

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder is a Republican. Mayor Bill de Blasio is a Democrat. Both men find themselves at the center of crises, which collectively involve thousands of children likely brain-damaged from exposure to lead.

**SNIP**

On Nov. 7, 2017, de Blasio was re-elected to a second term. Two weeks later, he admitted he knew one year earlier that NYCHA was falsifying documents regarding lead-based paint inspections.

Sanders could have called for de Blasio’s resignation, as he did with Snyder. Instead, he personally swore in de Blasio for his second term on Jan. 1, 2018.

Dem double standards aren’t really news, but the question of why Flint’s water system problems haven’t been fixed yet - a national visibility issue for years now - is one worth consideration for sure.

One of the worst water pollution situations in the United States occurred at the US Marine Corps base at Camp Lejeune. Over 1 million Marines and dependents were affected from the 1950’s to the late 1980’s. A complete dereliction of duty by the Department of Defense and the Marine Corps. https://www.newsweek.com/2014/07/25/us-military-supposed-protect-countrys-citizens-and-soldiers-not-poison-them-259103.html

Psst... Compare Washington DC’s water report with Flint Michigan’s. Fun times.

It’s Trumps fault. He alone is responsible for local drinking water problems. ( kind of /s but I have seen numerous “news” stories with that theme. )

Well Flint is like, the absolute anti-Trump.

But they really are dropping the ball, there.

I had forgotten all about that. It has been how many years now?

The problems in Flint, MI water is the home owner problems.

The water is fine, the pipes in the Flint homeowners houses is the problem and it isn’t the governments fault. The HOMEOWNERS in Flint is the problem!

The people of Flint, Michigan have been drinking lead-tainted water for more than a year since the city switched its water source from Detroit’s Lake Huron to the Flint River.

Uh; why don’t they switch BACK???

Why does anyone think that they drink tapwater in Flint?

Why would a resident of Flint continue to drink tapwater?

Why wouldn’t Flint residents buy cheap bottled water ($3.xx a case of 40 at Sam’s)?

Why wouldn’t Flint residents buy ad hoc filtering systems, like Brita?

Why did Flint elect a single party state Demwit regime over and over for nearly 75 years?
