This country was making significant progress...it is a tourist destination, has lots of ex-pats living there, and was on the verge of becoming a regional economic powerhouse.

Now the same a-hole that ruined the country in the 1980s is doing it again. Just sad.

Yep!

We lived in Managua back in 2004 and enjoyed going to Masaya to wander around the beautiful, modern shopping mall then hit a really good sushi restaurant nearby.

All these ‘socialist’ Bernie supporters need to spend time in Nicaragua or some other would be ‘workers paradise’ with ‘social justice’ and ‘income redistribution’>

It’s always amazing to see people on HGTV buying retirement or vacation homes in places like Nicaragua, Honduras, and Guatemala. What are they thinking?
