Socialism/communism produces NOTHING socialists/communists wish to “redistribute.”
Socialism/communism can only exist as a parasite of a capitalist host.
Socialists/communists run out of things to “redistribute” the minute they succeed in destroying their capitalist host.
Not to mention that Communists murdered more than 100,000,000 of their own citizens in the 20th century alone.

You could wipe capitalism off the map right now, and within sixty seconds...it’d come right back. It’s kinda like Kudzu...you can’t wipe it out.
She may be right. I strongly suspect this country will go Socialist once enough of us have gone on to that great Tea Party in the Sky.
As Winston Churchill said, you can count on the American People to do the right thing, once they have exhausted all of the alternatives.
And this is an alternative we haven’t tried yet.
There is always Capitalism, in that there is always Capital, the question is, who controls the Capital, the individual, or the State.
Throughout history, every social/political system yields 1% of the population with all the power, 10% of the population who exist to service the 1%, and who live sort of OK. The rest are dirt.
Capitalism with its protection of private property and rewards for work and accomplishment is the ONLY exception.
Not enough have died yet.
Actually, America currently imports an all-time record amount of goods produced in communist China.
It is the largest trade inbalance in recorded history. Ever.
And it is poised, to once again, set another record.

Sounds on the surface like there’s a lot to debunk.
Maybe Trump’s best success is the lack of obsession about him on Main Street. Even my outwardly liberal politics favoring friend who doesn’t like Trump is being “don’t worry, be happy.”
A real command economy would take every pain and give you every pain that you knew the “Beloved Leader” as in NK.
In a collective, the individual is an expenditure.
When times are tough, you reduce expenditures to survive. Good luck with that. History proves the point.
