Not sure what I should say about that.

It is impossible to explain much of that.

I have a family friend who was a military pilot. After he retired he was called back to work with NATO. He flew almost everything. There are good things that happened there. He has never commented about Turkey when I mentioned them. I did not push that, we are good friends.

I know 2 pilots who were stationed at Incirlik, neither had anything good to say about that duty.

I was stationed in Germany for a few years. I know all about the Turkish-German youth, they’re violent hooligans and anti-American agitators. Many stabbings and fights have happened which were well known about but not officially publicized. I can only imagined what a sucky assignment Incirlik must have been.
