Everyone Is Smart Except Trump (Great Article)
The American Spectator ^ | July 18, 2018 | DOV FISCHER

Posted on 07/19/2018 9:19:11 PM PDT by bobsunshine

It really is quite simple. Everyone is smart except Donald J. Trump. That’s why they all are billionaires and all got elected President. Only Trump does not know what he is doing. Only Trump does not know how to negotiate with Vladimir Putin. Anderson Cooper knows how to stand up to Putin. The whole crowd at MSNBC does. All the journalists do.

They could not stand up to Matt Lauer at NBC. They could not stand up to Charlie Rose at CBS. They could not stand up to Mark Halperin at NBC. Nor up to Leon Wieseltier at the New Republic, nor Jann Wenner at Rolling Stone, nor Michael Oreskes at NPR, at the New York Times, or at the Associated Press. But — oh, wow! — can they ever stand up to Putin! Only Trump is incapable of negotiating with the Russian tyrant.

Remember the four years when Anderson Cooper was President of the United States? And before that — when the entire Washington Post editorial staff jointly were elected to be President? Remember? Neither do I.

Unsaid in the numbers on GDP spent on defense is that it's usually America's sons and daughters who are asked to go offer up their lives in combat to further NATO’s aims while member nations provide token units ‘so they can be there.’

That they do that while still fining American companies for simply being successful (oh, hey, Google, pay up another 5 billion in blood money to the EU because you DARED include a browser and are the default search engine... Somehow Apple gets a pass for doing the same thing..)

We really need to level the playing field to the point where we can step in and protect our own interests (and while I think it's fun to see a liberal company being fined by the liberalist quasi-international body, it really is a slap towards us for being a successful nation.)

But that's okay, Trump's an idiot who has no skills. Man, that must burn for the Hillary supporters that he won. Ooh, quick, call him a traitor and impeach him... (Amazing how fast they generally back off such talk when you note that it'll be President Pence or President Ryan when they fantasize that Pence would be impeached as well.)

Trump is also the one who gets security briefings. The press gets leaks. The press has been proven to being partisan. And The FBI has evidence that the press trades favors, some sexual, with low level people in the government to hear all their petty office dirt and opinions. And from that they decide always that Trump is wrong. Well when you look at Russia, ask your self these questions:

Are there more sanctions now than under Obama?

Did Trump deport over 60 Russian diplomats and close two consulates.

Did Trump fire on Syrian bases and planes with Russian armed forces present.

Did Trump publicly condemn Russia several times since becoming president?

Does America need some support from Russia with regards to Syria, North Korea and Iran?

Does Russia have secret information about spies in the US from other hostile countries?

Is it possible that Russia has spies in the Washington Post and The New York Times because that is the safest way to get Top Secret Information from the US government without being caught?

>> The whole crowd at MSNBC does.

MSNBC is Comcast... and you all have the opportunity to modify your Comcast subscriptions.

But do you really care?

Trump knows how to kill 200 of his mercenaries in Syria

And placed the most punishing restrictions on that country than any two presidents have ever done before

Probably told Putin that he had no choice, that if puddin didn’t change his ways he was going to escalate the punishment

The older I get, the more I get annoyed by sarcasm. Besides this was already posted.

Also, I don’t care for the Spectator. They screwed me out of 2 years of a 3 year subscription.

An article of common sense assessment that happens to be correct.

The detractors don’t want to understand that if you extend a hand of cooperation you can always withdraw it if the terms are not acceptable but as Kurt Russell said to the creep streep in Silkwood, “Karen, you ain’t never going to get no where with anybody standing toe to to with them calling them a MF.”

Ages ago I told people I was a Trump supporter. At first because he just wasn’t one of “them”. I thought he might terrorize the swamp or that we might as well have some fun if we are going down anyway. I also was a supporter because you have to have something on the ball to run a company that relies on 20,000 employees in one of the most militant unions ever, the SEIU of the AFL-CIO. Have any of those people come forward telling about how rotten a bastard Trump is? Not that I have seen. You also have to have some good things going for you to raise money for a venture from a lot of rich people, then go bankrupt with it a time or two and still, is there one who has said that Trump is a rotten bastard who cheated me out of my money and is guilty of malfeasance? Not that I have heard. Both of those feats are tough enough to give the man a lot of credibility with me.

Sure he pops off, that is New York and where he came from. It is also knowing you have to fight back when you are right and when you are wronged. The man is bearing up against incredible odds and ridicule but he, for the first time in MY ADULT LIFE, is a politician who is doing what he said he would do. Yes, with some compromise but he is still doing it BETTER than anyone I have seen in my 6+ decades.

Speaking of sunshine. These mouthy milk toast maggots can stick all their crap right there. Where the sun don’t shine.

Trump all the way.

Trump has been in the public eye for decades. He has no shadowy past. In fact, he’s gone out of his way to make sure the public knows who he is with all sorts of private and public projects. He’s been both a registered Democrat and Republican and given money to both parties. He’s not a secret to anyone.

Trump had to employ people; meet payrolls, deadlines, and standards of satisfaction; and play by all the rules government and industry have imposed upon him to earn his billions. If his ex-wives, employees, and business partners have anything bad to say about him, we would have heard it AD NAUSEUM by now.

Trump’s sole problem is that he was the competent outsider who became President and the establishment cool kids are furious about it. The cool kids are all second-handers who couldn’t begin to do what he has spent a lifetime doing—all in the public eye.

But, somehow, they have all the answers and Trump’s the idiot. If only he would listen to them, right?

BAH!

BTW, NPR stood up to Juan Williams. What a hoot!

And Anderson Cooper is a spoiled little rich boy pecker puffer and that's about all he is.

It's amazing really. According to the MSM, every GOP president from Gerald Ford to the present is an idiot (oh and Eisenhower too. What did he do but lead the Allies to victory in Europe?!). And every Dem is a genius, including also-rans like Gore and Kerry. Never mind fifty-seven states, and Austrians speaking Austrian, and corpse-men in The Navy.... Nixon was smart they will concede, but his intelligence was overridden by his evil-ness.
