They were out on the water during a T-storm warning with high straight line winds. The Duck Boats are amphibious, but this created very rough, ocean-like conditions- Im not sure they were designed for high waves.

We had straight line winds blow across our lake (approximately 4 miles long) a few years back. Took boats attached to their hoists and flipped them upside down. Happened on a perfectly sunny day. That said, anyone with a cell phone can get instant weather radar, so no excuses.
