I’m not a Sessions hater.
Thank you for this Liz.
You’re very welcome.
Was Trumps Campaign Set Up?

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes appearing on Fox & Friends provided a potentially explosive hint at whats driving his demand to see documents related to the Federal Bureau of Investigations Trump-Russia probe. If the campaign was somehow set up, he told the hosts, I think that would be a problem.

Think of the 2016 Trump-Russia narrative as two parallel strandsone politics, one law enforcement. The political side involves the actions of Fusion GPS, the Hillary Clinton campaign and Obama officialsall of whom were focused on destroying Donald Trump. The law-enforcement strand involves the FBIand what methods and evidence it used in its Trump investigation. At some point these strands intersectedand one crucial question is how early that happened.
What may well have kicked off both, however, is a key if overlooked moment detailed in the House Intelligence Committees recent Russia report. In late spring of 2016, then-FBI Director James Comey briefed White House National Security Council Principals that the FBI had counterintelligence concerns about the Trump campaign. Carter Page was announced as a campaign adviser on March 21, and Paul Manafort joined the campaign March 29.
—snip—
Its long been known that Mr. Steele went to the FBI in early July to talk about the dossier, and thats the first known intersection of the strands. But given the oddity and timing of those U.K. interactions concerning Messrs. Page and Papadopoulos, and given the history of some of the people involved in arranging them, some wonder if the two strands were converging earlier than anyone has admitted.

If I ran into Sessions on the street, I’d spit in his face.
“Im not a Sessions hater.”
Glad to hear it.
It’s infuriating that the Left seems able to escape justice while our President must submit to a ruthless witch hunt, simply for not being a Democrat.
I understand the anger and even the tendancy to look for someone to blame, but I doubt this political double standard is a flaw in our justice system that could be corrected by having a different AG.
The double standard in political justice is just another manifestation of the nearly complete communication monopoly the Left has enjoyed for most of a century.
Free Republic is a rare exception, and Trump’s honest tweets are another. Between these two fronts and a few other patches of sunlight, the hypocrisy of the Left is being exposed and their narratives are slowly unwinding.
Only when the Left is knocked off its media perch will the voting public see clearly to hold Leftist politicians accountable for their transgressions, and to reassert the founding principles of individual liberty and limited government.
I don’t think Page wants to count on Rosenstein or anybody else in that cabal. She knows how untrustworthy they are. No, I think she’s cooperating. The question is whether she’s holding anything back. But if she is, they can pull whatever deal they made with her.
Thanks SeekAndFind.
Now it’s leaked. Watch the airports for some hasty exits.
This is not true based on the actions and support for Mueller and Rosenstein from Ryan, McConnell, Graham, Rubio, McCain. To these people they are saints as pure as the new fallen snow.
