Former FBI Lawyer Lisa Page Said Anti-Trump Texts With Peter Strzok 'Mean Exactly What They Say'
Townhall ^ | 7/17/2018 | Matt Vespa

Posted on 07/20/2018 10:28:55 AM PDT by simpson96

Yesterday was day two of testimony from former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who was also the mistress of disgraced FBI Agent Peter Strzok. The two sent tens of thousands of texts, anti-Trump in nature during some of the most politically sensitive investigations the FBI has undertaken in recent memory: the Clinton email probe and the counterintelligence investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians. Strzok was a key player in both investigations. Throughout 2016, the two sent texts that have raised eyebrows and questioned the credibility of the FBI’s impartiality. From “we’ll stop it” and an “insurance policy,” both referring to the Trump presidency, GOP lawmakers want to know what Strzok meant. The insurance policy is allegedly the Trump dossier, which was a campaign opposition research file compiled by former MI6 spy Christopher Steele, who was hired by Fusion GPS during the 2016 election; Fusion was hired by the Clinton campaign to find dirt on Trump. That document was allegedly used to secure a FISA warrant to spy on Trump’s former foreign policy adviser Carter Page.

Strzok’s testimony last week before Congress was a rodeo fraught with drama, (snip) Strzok’s main point was that his biased texts weren’t evidence of bias.

For Page, there were no fireworks. No explosive moments that we know of since it was behind closed doors. Yet, House Republicans found her testimony credible and respected her willingness to get to the truth. Her testimony on Friday did, however, raise concerns with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) concerning whether the FBI was driving towards a desired outcomeon the Russia investigation. Now, Page reportedly told House members that those anti-Trump texts meant exactly what they mean, according to Rep. John Ratcliff (R-TX) (via ABC News):

"Page has blown Stzroke and Mueller apart.

It’s also been reported she testified that there was no legal and evidential basis to open up an investigation against Trump, and she is looking for an immunity deal."

Well, folks, we've been hoping and praying that somebody was going down for all this treacherous behavior. Looks like we've got somebody on the hook: Lisa Page. She's selling out a lot of the protected class with these purported statements. She won't be allowed to get away with it.

Meet the first sacrificial lamb...

The feds love burner phones.

They get tied to your other phones by proximity the instant you turn them on.

Sounds like Strzok thought he was the smartest guy in the room and was untouchable but Lisa Page foolishly feared consequences if she lied to congress (c’mon now, that never happens!) so she actually told the truth. Sadly it was behind closed doors and easy to bury.

When Stzok goes to Leavenworth

Who do you think will ever prosecute him?

“Page has blown Stzrok...” could’ve stopped there.

Based on her text messages, I'm sure they could threaten her with the below:

18 U.S. Code § 2384 - Seditious conspiracy US Code Notes

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both. (June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 808; July 24, 1956, ch. 678, § 1, 70 Stat. 623; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(1)(N), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)

Sedition requires “force”.

An easier conviction would be 18 U.S. Code § 371 - Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States.

In the case of Haas v. Henkel, the Supreme Court included “any conspiracy for the purpose of impairing, obstructing, or defeating the lawful function of any department of government.”

My respect for her just went up 1000%. When you think about it she has been forced to do a very public walk of shame for months now (housewrecker), and it looks like the swamp, including Strzok told her to suck it up buttercup and take the fall. I think that may not be her plan ...

I only use burner phones so good luck with that. None are tied to my real name.

Those types of phones get particular scrutiny. Regularly hang around the same people and their phones get tagged. Travel along certain routes, those routes are mapped. Go somewhere ODD with such a phone and it comes to someones attention. Talk to folks a lot and these conversations can be recorded and images taken. Burner phones are no good for security, might as well set your hat on fire...it wouldn't make you any more conspicuous.

Robyn Gritz has lived a nightmare and it came at the hands of McCabe, Comey and some bad folks in the FBI.

Hate to be facetious but re “Oh, they’ll nail her for something...”
Well Strzok “nailed” her first.

What I’d like to see is the “last nail” in the Mueller investigation, closing up this fraudulent charade like a cheap coffin.

Say it again!!! He’ll be offered a book deal and wind up on some cable news as their “intelligence expert”.
