One Judge Confirmed This Week (and one floor vote cancelled at last minute)

Posted on 07/21/2018 2:49:38 AM PDT by cotton1706

This will be a weekly post.

Count is now 44.

Could have been 45, but Senators Tim Scott and Marco Rubio decided to remove their support at the very last minute.

Because Scott was "uncomfortable" with the nominee's anti-multiculturism writings in college.

They could have said something before the committee vote.

They could have said something before the cloture vote THE PREVIOUS DAY!

But they decided, for their own purposes, to kill a good conservative nominee.

Again, count could have been 45 but for two scheming republicans.

Though he was firm for a while, Scott was a Haley appointee to the Senate and will no longer be reliably conservative. He should last a long time with Palmetto voters.

Haley and Scott are huge disappointments.

You cannot ever trust that they will vote reliably for conservative principles. They are both crony Bush establishment Republicans.

South Carolina can do much better than give us these two along with that other clown in the Senate John Wayne Gacy, oops I mean Lindsey Graham.

Ah so that’s how Scott got into office. Nikki Haley strikes again. How long until he can be primaried?

Low blow by Rubes & Scott, who waited til Bounds cleared the Judiciary Committee to pull this.

Still, Trump has had confirmed 23 Circuit Court judges, or about 28% of all US Circuit Court judges. Of the vacancies he’s yet to submit names for, there are three in the Ninth including one from AZ. My guess is he will NOT submit an AZ nominee until Flakey is out (and we hope McTurd has assumed room temperature by that time as well).
