Three days after the shooting and robbery at a North Lauderdale store, the Broward Sheriff’s Office arrested a 19-year-old man who turned himself in Friday afternoon in the killing of a Parkland parent.
BSO detectives and Broward CrimeStoppers received numerous tips since the release of a surveillance video earlier in the day, according to a BSO release. “The homicide detectives’ investigation led them to an associate of [Tyrone] Fields’ who encouraged him to meet with law enforcement,” according to BSO spokeswoman Joy Oglesby. Fields turned himself in at Fort Lauderdale’s police station.
The senseless slaying dismayed the community .
Aunt Molly’s Food Store owner Ayub Ali, 61, had four children, two of whom — a son and a daughter — were survivors of the Valentine’s Day massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, not far from the family home.

Did the kids survive having bullets pumped into their bodies? Or were they attending the school and just not shot? Because I feel this is a coincidence, but don’t want to assume.
Yeah, I’m about done with calling everyone a “survivor”, it’s like a participation trophy.
I blame Hogg and his friends for creating the environment that made this guy think he could get away with this, and taht it was the right thing to do.
In Hogg’s case, he may be creating that environment deliberately. It’s completely clear that he doesn’t care at all about how many people die to make him famous.

Why did he do that? It’s Broward County and all he had to do was lose himself in the ‘hood. But then they will probably put him in Obama’s PROMISE program and turn him loose.

If Ayub Ali had a gun the perp would be in the morgue.
We live 40 miles north of Tampa. By the time Irma passed through our area it was barely a Cat 1. Our pool overflowed and flooded the patio but no damage to the roof and not one drop of water got in the house. But we don’t consider ourselves survivors.
Does this mean that two children died, while two are still alive (survivors)?
LOL! Born in the mid-60’s. Guess that makes me a survivor of the Vietnam Conflict and both of us survivors of the Cold War!

I was in Maryland during that Florida shooting. I survived it and also am a survivor.
We’re all survivors of the Parkland shooting aren’t we?
Some are stupid, but most are manipulative and deliberately lie. They KNOW what they are doing.
