The FISC judges just read the document, and assume the FBI/DOJ are being truthful. If there is any corruption, it is on the shoulders of the document creators.
Any honest judge with two working brain cells would have stamped this REJECTED as soon as they got to “There has been speculation in U.S. media...”
Nor does it pass the smell test that not one of these FISC judges has called the applicants before the bench since.
