I saw that clip of him saying he is from Kenya. The truth will come out eventually. He said this and he wrote that he was born in Kenya. Case needs to be reopened. Can anyone imagine if Trump was caught in lies of this magnitude?

Clapper was speaking on CNN. The typical Democrat CNN viewer is fully invested in the Trump-Putin conspiracy theory, and interprets every fact in a way such that it confirms the conspiracy theory. The typical Democrat CNN viewer also loves Obama.
The other half of the country suspects that there was Deep State conspiracy against Trump.
What appears to a conservative as an accusation that Obama was behind a conspiracy to use the nation’s law enforcement, judicial, and intelligence services against a political opponent simultaneously appears to a CNN Democrat to an endorsement of the Trump-Putin conspiracy theory by the beloved and nearly omniscient Barrack Obama.
That’s not to say Clapper actually sees it that way himself. He may very well see that the Deep State conspiracy is coming unraveled and is asserting that his participation was ordered by none other than President.

If there is no there there and Mueller can’t find any crimes committed by our President, he can spin off investigation of many folks close to the President in order to continue to cast a cloud of suspicion over the administration for years. In my mind our justice department needs a reform. It should not be allowed to put somebody like Paul Manafort in solitary confinement so that he can be so uncomfortable that he’ll scream for mercy and make up stories. The Democrats will never be held accountable for their crimes, and it has nothing to do with who is Attorney General. It has to do with the absolute monopoly the Left has over communications in the USA.

Look what happened with the Trump Putin summit. When Obama was far more conciliatory toward Putin the MSM heralded it as a great diplomatic success. The relentless charge that Trump failed to challenge Putin has everything to do with Trump being a Republican.
People don’t realize how profound this media monopoly is and how effectively it trickles down from talkng heads to late night talk shows, to celebrity sound bites, to social media - and becomes the consensus group think in America.
True, there are those who are suspicious of the Left and the Leftist group-think, but when reason and evidence are not a prerequisite for making allegations, there is no way to counter them. In a very real sense, the Left gets to act as cop, judge and jury - and there is no appeal process.
Let’s say Trump directed Jeff Sessions to indict, arrest and prosecute the entire Obama administration, which, technically, he would have the authority to do. The Left would rise up with cries of outrage and by the end of a week, the American people would have heard so much of the Left’s narrative that it would be the public consensus that the DOJ arrests were the crime, and that the AG’s actions had been an abuse of power beyond even Watergate. The original Democrat crimes would not even be a subject of discussion.
The point is, until the Left gets knocked off its MSM perch, we are screwed. As long as the Left controls the nation’s vocal cords - fighting for equal justice through normal legal channels will simply not work.
Trump knows this - that’s why he hasn’t directed his DOJ to make indictments and arrests - even though there is plenty of evidence to support it. The problem is that as long as it’s in the political realm, the only thing that matters is public a opinion, and the Left can still control that.
