According to a survey published by Gallup, there are 36 economic and non-economic issues on the minds of Americans.
No one mentioned climate change.
As you might expect, economic issues were in the forefront of the voters' minds. But there are some interesting results nonetheless:

They'd feel less guilty about using up tons of energy themselves if they could force fly-over peasants to live in caves with minimal energy use to compensate.

Climate change, the plight of transsexuals, (illegal) immigrant rights, fighting white supremacy, economic justice.... All phony causes to give those with no morals the illusion that they have superior morals.

If I’m reading it correctly, immigration and poor government are the top two issues.
The media is simply overplaying its hand with their agenda to the point of the phone receiver melting in the movie “Fail Safe”.
The shrill shrieking non-stop 24/7 has people tuning out and getting on with their lives and things that really matter.
I have never had more friends and acquaintances in my life tell me that they are tuning out the news or taking it in very small doses.
Al Gore has done an incredibly poor job of frightening Americans into fearing climate change.
Even Chicken Little had a productive day driving his townspeople hysterical over his sky-changing predictions. But for Al, not a moment of propaganda-induced panic could he create.
In fact, Al has been such a failure he doesn’t even seem to be considering a run for the presidency in 2020, as every other Democratic failure of his generation has been doing, from Hillary Clinton to John Kerry to Joe Biden, etc., ad nauseam.
