The book Eden in the East is about something else but the prologue has a discussion of the several variations in orbit and rotation precession of the Earth and how these things affect the climate. Human activity could not possibly contribute enough to make any noticeable difference at all.

Not too mention the Natural Forces do compensate. More biological activity "storing" carbon, meaning less for CO2.

Even the continued growth of mountain ranges exposes more carbon-loving minerals to bond to.
