Though it seems ironic that democrats, of all people, would want to abolish a federal agency, these are democrats, remember. They may discontinue the term ICE, but will either replace the agency with one even larger and more bloated, or just add to it under a different mandate. In either case, what remains will begin to resemble other federal government agencies, with even more union members.
but if, and i stress IF they ever got near that point, it'll be “we need to abolish ICE AND replace it with a more ‘effective’ organization” (in other words—a larger, more expensive, more controllable puppet org for the DNC)
