The idiot. He sits there with the power to start prosecutions and he won’t. He is so disgusting and cowardly.

Guess who else said it but never did anything about it?

That’s right. Donald Trump. He used that awesome debate zinger “because you’d be in jail” but since then, when has he ever led us to believe he would actually try to lock her up? Never.

If you go back and listen to his rallies, when the “lock her up” chants start he listens with appreciation but never IIRC does he say anything to affirm any intention to actually lock her up.

When people chanted “build the wall”, he would ALWAYS follow the chant with a statement such as “yep that’s exactly what we’re going to do folks, we’re going to build a big beautiful wall....and who is going to pay for it? ...Mexico!!”

When there were chants of “drill baby drill” or whatever, he would follow them with an affirming statement.

Does anyone know of a case where he followed the “lock her up” chant with an affirming statement? I do t recall any and I watched all the rallies.

No, I had the impression he liked the enthusiasm but he always stopped short of making a promise to lock up her or any other of Obama’s minions.

Trump’s actual campaign promises are formally written into the platform and written policy statements - but there has never been a single word written where he promises to lock anyone up. Yet I keep hearing people say he promised to lock Clinton and other democrats up.

I really don’t think he believes that is what “draining the swamp” means. Ending the corruption, yes. Exposing their crooked dealings, yes. Branding the Democrat party as self-serving parasites, yes. Ending abusice regulations and taxes, yes. Sending lobbyists home, yes. All these things will “drain the swamp”, but actually locking people up? I don’t think he ever promised that.

And he sure doesn’t seem too interested in making it happen. As everyone repeats ad nauseum, his AG isn’t locking anyone up and he’s still got his job a year and a half later.

I think people have to accept that draining the swamp means something else to Trump - he doesn’t want any parts of criminally prosecuting the opposition party.

I think he may be right to stay uninvolved with leveling criminal charges against his political enemies. It may be more difficult than meets the eye to seperate crimes from dirty politics - it could backfire politically if it’s just seen by the public as a political vendetta against the democrats.

I’d like to see them rot in prison - but I don’t think we should expect Trump to run a purge - then get accused of being some sort of authoritarian dictator.

JEFFY SEEMS TO LIVE INSIDE HIS OWN LITTLE F***ING
BUBBLE .... Somehow me thinks he is either a idiot
or a Deep State Swamp Rat , his lack of concern and lack
of action indicate that he was the worst pick Trump
has made so far . Sessions needs to remove himself .
He must sit in his office all day doing crossword puzzles.
and playing cats cradle with a piece of Alabama twine.
I would love to have a close one on one chat with the
useless sack of crap ...
