Its worse than a mess. Far worse. We are effectively living in, and subsidizing, a police state being run by an unaccountable AND POLITICIZED fourth branch of government. None of these people are elected, yet they are exercising enormous power, and abusing it. Every American should be deeply concerned about this, and what its leading to in terms of losing our liberties.

Congress is unwilling to clean up anything. And they are a separate branch of government. They are a bunch of feckless opportunists who are only out for themselves. So, it falls on the president to clean up his own house to the extent that he can. It is imperative that he protect us against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. That’s his job.

Make no mistake about it. Rogue agencies and the corrupt bureaucrats who are running them are becoming an existential threat to our Republic. Remember, they almost took it all away from us. This is no time for politics; its time for action.

I once thought that a weaponized IRS targeting conservative groups was a frightening development. But little did I know that it would pale in comparison to the defiance, arrogance, corruption, and police state tactics of some of our most trusted agencies.

I think we both share similar concerns but we differ on how to deal with it. I believe that corrosive problems tend to get worse if not dealt with. Trump has plenty of justification by now for cleaning house and declassifying documents. The American people trust him and would welcome decisive action on his part to remove the rat’s nest and restore integrity back into our most trusted agencies.

Declassifying is possible although it might be better to time that for scorched earth should the Dems suggest impeachment. The cleaning house part is much more difficult. His appointees have to do that and I'm sure some are trying. But they will all risk getting Pruitted (i.e. lied about by enemies of reform).

From day one saw Trump as a reprieve for Christians. That was a year before the deep state started promoting their Russia collusion meme. Even then I saw that as a policy dispute and the opposition was weaponizing Trump's support for peaceful relations with Russia. I also saw Trump as a possible reprieve from the progressive ever-expanding bureaucracy but I realized he would promote infrastructure which would turn into pork barrel. Turns out there's a lot of pork barrel.

But still I see Trump as a reprieve until America wakes up, but he has pleasantly surprised with judges and cutting regulations and taxes. MAGA is essential IMO, but also just a repreive. My tagline is one of the many similar lines from Trump's speaches. What it says is that reform is entirely up to us. Nobody, not Trump, not anyone can do it for us.
