CHICAGO (WLS) -- A group is planning to shut down part of Lake Shore Drive on Chicago's North Side for an anti-violence protest next week.
The demonstration is scheduled for 4 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, which will be as fans are headed to the Cubs-Padres games.

Years ago, went to an anti-violence march when I was a liberal. I am white, went with a white friend. Blacks there, in downtown Pittsburgh, would not let us pass intil we convinced the incomprehensible, masked thugs we were on their side.
Anti-Violence? Yeah right! I would feel pretty safe making a bet that if a car got too close or honked to drive through, it would definitely get stuff thrown at it or worse.
Sadly true. There was a shooting recently at one of these stop the violence rallies.
Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. Violence at a peace March??? Seems so contradictory.
