Kudos to the IDF!
Howdy, Kathy.
Have things calmed down to a dull roar yet?
Hope you've had a fantabulous day!
Son and I had a great day, he just left and I'm heading to bed for an early morning day.
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!
Glad you had a great day!
Get a good night’s sleep so you aren’t dragging all day tomorrow. The long day is rough enough as it is.
Howdy, LUV.
LOVE that graphic!
Howdy, radu!
I do, too. Touches my heart!
Hope your day was a good one! Did it rain? Did it remain cooler? I hope the heat isn’t creeping up again yet. I wonder how your farmers feel about the soybean news today from the EU?
It was very good here. Our company arrived and have settled in, and LB is doing just great in “her” room. She seems relaxed and happy. Or as happy as a kitty can be with an owwie on her tummy.
Just finished watching “Gettysburg,” all 4-1/2 hours of it. The last scene — Pickett’s Charge — is sobering. What those men had to do.
I need to do that sometime, too. I heard it was an excellent show. And accurate, which you can’t say about many of them.
It’s VERY touching!
It was a good day but a busy one. No rain and a little on the toasty side. BUT, only one more day in the 90s and we have 80s in the rest of the 7-day forecast! WOOHOO! Slight chances for rain over the weekend and better chances next week.
Most of the farmers in our area sell to Tyson for livestock feed. They have a feed plant a mile or so from our farm.
I don’t know what their thoughts are on the news today since I haven’t talked to anyone.
Is your company your friend with the eye issues? In town for another check-up?
Good to hear LB’s doing so well. Bet she’d thoroughly enjoy getting to sleep on the bed with you tonight IF you can get Peaches to stay out. :-)
I watched "Gods and Generals" last night and followed with "Gettysburg" today. They are both sobering movies.
Good evening, radu...I made it home IN THE RAIN, fed my self, and just relaxed for a few.
My computer guy did some remote fixing and now something I need for work won’t work...and not for the first time. It wants Java, but not the latest version. It is a pain...but I still want it working.
How was your day? Beat the heat?
What an awesome gift for that wounded warrior and his family. Jay made life a lot easier for all of them and gave Craig Andrade a little freedom he hasn’t been able to enjoy for a while. Very cool!
YAY for rain! ‘Bout time y’all got a decent dose of it.
Not so yay about your computer not behaving the way you need it to. I hope you can figure out a way to get the work done that you need to do.
Pretty warm here today and tomorrow will be a little warmer. But after that, temps will be fairly comfy though it’ll be a little humid. We’ll take it though! We’re sick and tired of 90 degree days.
Very cool...you got to sing.
Are you both all warm and dry?
Yay for 80s type weather. Sounds delish! Ours was a bit cooler today, but still in the 90s.
Oh, yes, I forgot they sell to Tysons. The president made a deal with the EU to buy soy beans from us. Should help the farmers who were looking for a market.
Yes, it’s the friend here for another eye exam. She usually comes once a month. They just got back from E. Texas where they buried the ashes of their son who died last month. Very sad time for them. He had a sudden massive heart attack while home alone. He lived in Illinois while our friends live in Lubbock, north of us.
LB is not going to be sleeping on the bed with me. She’s sweet, but I wouldn’t sleep a wink wondering what she was getting into. LOL! She’s happy where she is, and after Peaches goes out tonight, if he does, I’ll probably let her prowl the bedroom a bit. Remember, in a couple more days, she becomes an outside cat again with her kittens.
I have a friend who works for a vet that is going to try to find home for those babies. I sure hope she can. I showed her the picture of the 5 of them around the food dish. She’s always been an animal lover and wanted to be a vet, but couldn’t afford it. So she works as a vet assistant and is good at what she does.
Imagine Ted Turner being patriotic. LOL! I have a hard time with that, but those are some excellent shows. I think I saw Gods and Generals years ago.
Was Gettysburg the one that was premised around soldiers’ letters to home? I saw one episode of that one when visiting a friend and always wanted to see the rest. But just never did.
