President Trumps longtime fixer Michael Cohen recorded a conversation with CNN reporter Chris Cuomo earlier this year in which he said he arranged on my own a $130,000 payment in 2016 to Stormy Daniels, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

The paper reported that Cohen told Cuomo he wasnt running a tape before recording their entire conversation. But...but that would be fibbing. And fibbing is wrong.

OK, this gets interesting . . .

"The paper reported that Cohen told Cuomo he wasnt running a tape before recording their entire conversation." If he was using a digital recorder he would have been perfectly honest. No tape involved.

COHEN IS SIDEBAR FREEPERS! HE AND TRUMP MADE AN ARRANGEMENT TO THROUGH MUELLER OFF-SIDES!

The tape sounds to me like Cohen was trying to get Trump to admit to something illegal or to agree to a conspiracy. I believe they flipped Cohen long before the election and had him wired.

Anyone who ever had a conversation with Cohen was likely recorded it sounds like. Amazing.
People are going to have trust issues with lawyers...well I have already had that due to our own experiences...

No, that is not perfectly honest.
It is technically correct but deliberately misleading to avoid the actual question in context.
This is the kind of lying muslims allow against infidels. And the kind of lying lawyers do. Its the kind of lying bill and hil have done forever.
I cant abide anyone doing it given so many enemies of ours do it and think its perfectly fine.

Is that anything like when the media says ‘off the record’ and rolls video and audio?

Yep. I agree. Flipped a long time ago.
To: Labyrinthos
Funny we both came up with the same nomenclature for Cohen.
Honestly did not see your post before posting.

"It is technically correct but deliberately misleading to avoid the actual question in context." In my mind, being technically correct is being honest. If Cuomo, a media professional, doesn't understand the difference between a digital and analog recording, it's not his interviewee's responsibility to teach him.

Agreed. When other people start squealing, Trump’s comments will make more sense.

IIRC, secretly taping a phone conversation is a violation of federal law.
This will be MOST interesting!
