The F/A-18E/F (Super Hornet) is designed to be stealthier than the F/A-18A/B/C/D. It is not a stealth aircraft, but has a much-reduced radar cross section compared to the legacy Hornet.
I get that, but it still doesn’t have internal stores, and any ordnance rack on the wing becomes a bright radar reflector. I would temper your statement to “it is designed to have a lower radar signature.” That would be accurate. JMO but implying stealth as a descriptor is just marketing.
