Top committee Republicans vote for border provision WORSE than amnesty
Conservative Review ^ | July 26, 2018 | Daniel Horowitz

...Yesterday, the House Appropriations Committee, during a markup of the fiscal year 2019 DHS funding bill, voted to block the new USCIS guidance to properly interpret “credible fear” as fear of an individualized persecution by a government. As we noted before, this is the lynchpin of the entire border surge, and unless we properly interpret the law as written, the border surge, drugs, gangs, and all of the fiscal and social ills that come with them will never stop. Yet Rep. Kevin Yoder, R-Kan., — yes, that Kevin Yoder — gave his support to this Democrat amendment, and it passed by voice vote.

Yoder, [chair] Homeland Security subcommittee, should be a warrior for the American people and law enforcement. Instead, he is a voice for illegal immigrants. He inserted numerous amendments tying the hands of DHS and giving illegals more rights. He inserted language mandating more free phone calls for illegals and more access to facilities by members of Congress so they can further agitate and hamper our brave agents.

The entire tenor of the markup was a violation of the social compact. It’s as if the ill effects of this border surge on America — from the drugs and gangs to the crushing costs and crime — didn’t matter. He voted to push forward with an investigation of separating families when we know the entire issue is built on a lie and that many of these families self-separate.

snip It allows anyone to come here and simply claim a bogus fear. Then we are forced to deal with their children, release them, go through endless court cases, and lose control of our country. It is now clear that RINOs like Yoder not only want amnesty for those already here but want to ensure that the invasion continues in perpetuity.

Some other “plain” sect, I reckon. They don’t have horses, they drive automobiles and use electricity, but their religion is pacifist. And this IS a free Country. But in today’s world, I would never vote for a pacifist for government. Just my personal druthers.

“Bush League Republicans MUST become extinct before the Republic does.”

Out of ~230 Republicans in the House, MAYBE a dozen are not in the “Bush League”.

The Republican Senate has MAYBE one or two, depending on the subject.

And it’s because they do the bidding of their payers. The Chamber of Commerce and their Wall Street brethren.

Every bad thing Democrats say about Republicans is TRUE.

As is the reverse...

I’m a little more optimistic, there are 35-40 in the House and 4 Senators that side with the citizens and the rule of law.

"Lou Dobbs will be all over this tonight. It needs to be fully exposed."

After Fox standing with CNN when the Administration booted the CNN reporter who shouted non-relevant questions at the EU/Trump press onference and Lou denouncing CNN for its stunt, I worry how much longer Lou Dobbs will be on the air for Fox. I have pretty much retreated to Fox Business because of the leftward movement of Fox News, but this would just about be the last straw for listening to Fox at all.

Name those that support a wall (in real terms and rhetoric) and deportation of illegals.

Because that’s what their voting base supports.

While your at it, please indicate those who also support chopping NATO down to size and using the power of the US to achieve fair trade.

Which their voting base ALSO supports overwhelmingly.

Fox News has pretty much turned itself into a parody. Its so bad it borders on being comical.

I can’t understand it at all. Why would any republican want more legal or illegals in the US. Most of them vote for democrats. if their numbers keep increasing, there won’t even be a republican party. yet these idiots want to increase their numbers. Its got to be Suicidal stupidity, what else can explain it???

The Republican Party, at the national level, has to ditch the corrupting influence of Free Traitor™ globalists and the “farm” cartel and embrace nationalism ( MAGA if you will )if they are ever going to have a secure majority. The Republicans shouldn’t have to needlessly struggle so much to retain a majority. They bring it on themselves.

They would rather lose. They prefer Democrats and a Hillary type SCOTUS to their own base voters.

I am at work at the moment, but most of the Freedom Caucus and Cotton, Cruz, Grassley and Perdue are on the side of the citizens when it comes to illegal aliens.

Strategy. Having them regain the House for two years is not control. Just a stage to appear even more ridiculous and for Trump to cream them in 2020. Action/Reaction.

The Republicans are killing Trump, not the regressives. If you don’t get rid of most House Republicans Trump can never win.

I see my weasel congressman on the list. He actually sent out a poll asking if ICE should be abolished. Guess it’s time to email him again, although as Rush says, they only care about big donors. They like to pretend they give a rat’s butt about their constituents.

That’s the problem right? If voters don’t want Trump impeached do they have to hold their noses and vote for these swamp critters?

It is the corporate interests. This is why I no longer support tax cuts for the wealthy or business. In fact I no longer support any business oriented legislation until the borders are secure and I do mean SECURE. If only the middle class is going to protect us then only we should receive any help. No help for traitors.!/p>

Correct. Most upper middle class white Repubs really despise the middle, lower middle and working class. It is a cultural thing . Upper middle class people tend to have a similar educational (elite or semi-elite schooling) and cultural (secular humanist with a slight veneer of mainstream Protestantism) background. I remember just how much my uncle who owned a trucking business despised his workers. My Father, who was ablue collar type, pointed out the men he sneered at were making him his rather nice living. His response was almost scatological and it was clear that he looked on his employees as so many dumb cattle. These attitudes have only been magnified in the last half century. There isn't much way to get rid of this stuffed shirt class of donors and RINOs as they pretty much are the GOP.

"And please don’t start whining. You have to clear out the rot if you want to build a strong foundation. Do your duty and vote out the traitor Republicans and then vote in a true Trump slate in 2020. "

DU Troll Alert!
