I’ve read several lists of affected areas, but am not personally familiar with the California geography.
So, I simply don’t know the answer to that. It would not surprise me if they were.

Ive read several lists of affected areas, but am not personally familiar with the California geography. Whiskey Town is a small town on Hwy 299 that runs about a hundred miles from Redding to Eureka( East to West) in Northern California. It's full of wildlife, virgin forests, riverrs, some lakes, Trinity Alps and ten thousand marijuana grows. It's a beautiful area. It usually has burns every years somewhere be it from lightening strikes, arson or other. It is very rural.

The fire burned through the west side of Redding last night. Now its burning in all directions.
The fire has taken on the dynamics that a raging fire can with plenty of dry fuel, low humidity, intense heat and high winds.
Several towns have been evacuated as it rages.
A Redding firefighter lost his life, in addition to the dozer operator.
