Men who are suffering from prostate cancer are often prescribed androgen deprivation therapy and deal with the side effects. That’s fine, because they do have a serious, deadly disease.

You’d have to be crazy to go for this electively just because you want to change your gender.

Exactly. Lupron is also given to women with some cancers or even going through infertility treatment. When I was on it, basically without hormones, I wanted to kill my beloved children for simply breathing. It is like being terminally, homocidally annoyed. And they want every kid with gender dysphoria on it for months at puberty. It’s child abuse.

We need to have more acceptance for gender dysphoria, by all people, both those with it and those who don’t understand it. Some men feel like women, and vice versa. We need to stop forcing them to switch what they are called. Transitioning only makes people happy 50% of the time. It’s a poor treatment at that rate of success. Let them be men and dress how they like, like women if they want. But they stay men. They re men. Who feel like women. And it’s not their fault.

Lupron alone for metastatic prostate cancer (spread to the bones) worked for me for almost 4 years. Now moving on to a different ADT drug in combination with an additional drug as part of a clinical trial.
