The annual fees, continuing education and certification requirements have to be hefty at the medical doctor level and a big hit to someone who is unemployed.
Then there’s the cost of reopening a medical office.
And getting re insured.
I’d say the odds are stacked.

I would love to see a law that requires us to have citizen legislators, and get rid of the career politicians.
And yes, even idiots need representative.

Don’t forget the patients who lined up to sue her for malpractice when this story first came out (in addition to the patients who were already suing her). There have no doubt been more filing suit against her since.
