Hall of Fame conservative radio host Mark Levin is blowing the whistle on what he sees as a double standard over the Trump administrations move last week to bar a CNN White House reporter from an event after she shouted several questions at the president inside the Oval Office.
On his top-ranked radio show, Levin mocked media that has circled the wagons around CNNs Kaitlan Collins who asked Trump, sitting with European Union Commission head Jean-Claude Juncker, about tapes the cable network had of the president allegedly talking with his former lawyer about payments to a Playboy model.
Mark Levin is great.. Make America Great Again!
Double standards and rank hypocrisy are the hallmarks of leftists. But those things never redound to them.
If not for double standards, the leftists would have no standards at all.
Maybe they did not invent hypocrisy, but they have raised it to an art form.
This is an obvious point to anyone paying attention.
Objectively, I cannot remember a President who is MORE accessible or speaks in public more than Trump who routinely addresses the media. Therefore, objectively, we should remember the common and frequent complaints about how inaccessible Obama was to the media. In light of this, the press corps should be appreciative of the amount of time Trump dedicates to speaking to them in a normal time, but we are not living in normal with the media.
However, it is well past time that the WH imposes some manners on the press corps. It has gotten embarrassing - especially during state visits when world leaders are bug eyed at the chaos that occurs at every presser. There is no call for this and basic decorum and politeness should be given to the office and institution.
I hope Trump starts yanking more press passes - it is a WINNING issue for him. He should start with permanently yanking Acosta’s so he can accurately reflect what he truly is - a partisan hack.
A press pass is NOT a license to be rude.
Barack Hussein was prisoner of the tele-prompter. He typically read his comments then spun on his heels and left. No more Magic Negroes.
New tagline!
