Kate Bryan is a communications strategist who worked with the pro-life movement in Ireland, specifically on the #SaveThe8th campaign this summer to keep abortion illegal. She joined Bre Payton on this episode of the Federalist Radio Hour to discuss what she saw and experienced as the country voted to repeal.
How was the pro-life movement so successful at keeping abortion illegal for 25 years?
Every single Saturday they had young people out in the middle of Dublin talking to people about what abortion is, she said. They learned from the mistakes of other countries ultimately: Its hard to get it out once it comes and its really hard to roll things back were going to go door-to-door canvassing even when theres not referendum.

Here’s how it happened: Ireland has become ultraleftwing like much of the West over the past few decades for a variety of reasons. But mostly due to a combination of the effects of modern day commercialist culture and the left’s aptitude at waging the culture war in this environment along with the right’s equally impressive incompetence the same thing. So it was only a matter of time and shocking it hadn’t happened already. THE END.
There always is one troll at the Federalists, but on certain topics like abortions , euthanasia, homosexuality or guns, they go in en mass and saturate with their vile sick comments.
