Wow. It sounds like what liberals do when they want to shut someone down - call them a racist, bigot, Nazi, xenophobe, etc. I have not really seen that on FR. I do remember, however, the Rudy purge. I was new to reading FR at the time. I couldn’t support him for President because he was supportive of abortion. I recall that was a motivation for Jim at the time too as he said that was a deal breaker. The fights over Rudy’s campaign led to people being banned. Ironically, I like Rudy a lot more now than I did then and think he’d make a good AG (still couldn’t support him for President b/c of abortion).
I would say I think FR is more conservative now than it used to be.
I was banned a year and a half along with travis McGee and others after a dust up with Tony Snow..RIP....over immigration reform proposed by the Bush Whitehouse in 2005.....we actually had Bush people on this forum pimping it
Anyhow long knives...we were gone
We came back after the Rudy purge
The forum has changed a lot
Few folks race bait whereas it use to be prevalent
Ed Gillespie and Karl Rove. And others called us racist for opposing amnesty then
The forum is much much better
But There are less of us...which is sad.
